Mr. Fowler instructs a course in starting a new business for college undergraduates. The aim of the course are to provide the basic tools and skills necessary to starting a new business. The foundation of the course is the development of the business plan for the new venture. At the completion of the course, the entrepreneur will have assessed the operational, economic, and personal feasibility of their business idea.
Examples in the course assume an Oregon based enterprise, yet the process and discipline associated with business planning are applicable to any new venture.
The course is offered for Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University students.
